We would be so grateful if you would pray with us about the following:

  • Our immigration visas: that we would be granted the appropriate permits to allow us to move toward permanent residency in South Africa; we’re under a tight deadline and are trusting for a breakthrough through the immigration lawyers assisting us.
  • LXP 2010: that God would continue to deeply shape the character and leadership skills of our students, while equipping them to grow in developing and discipling others.  Please also pray for the provision of finances for a property of our own…this is still a HUGE need for LXP.
  • Beat the Drum planning: in July we will partner with other ministries for a large Beat the Drum abstinence            initiative in the rural Transkei area of South Africa; please pray for all of the planning and preparation still to take place as we gather volunteers from South Africa, the USA, and other countries.
  • Growth of those in our local church and our youth program, “Disciples of God” (DoGs): Our deep desire is to see people move from a mere verbal acknowledgment of their faith and the simple raising of hands in a church service to a radical and deeply personal relationship with Jesus that permeates every part of their daily lives.  Pray for the process of true discipleship in the lives of those in our local church and the kids who are a part of our community youth program.
  • The LXP Lesotho Team: Two of our former students and an American volunteer make up the team running an           LXP-based ministry in the mountainous country of Lesotho.  Please pray for resources, wisdom, strength, and           team unity as this group reaches out primarily to disciple vulnerable children and youth in their rural town.
  • The coming birth of our son: “Baby Mwanza” is due to be born the last week of May!  Please pray for a healthy           delivery, the process of us getting ready for his arrival, and the transition into parenthood.

Thank you again for all of your support!  May God bless each one of you with a deeper knowledge of and walk with Him.
